After stepping down as the CSP head coach and winning the state championship he went to CL/WF/Broc to go to coach there football team, Ty Harper brought his culture over to CL/WF/BROC and they had a very successful season as the first year head coach there.
After getting blown out 49-0 by SW/FB, he went on to make the sectional playoffs. They met with SW/FB again in the sectional championship game, at Highmark Stadium, knowing that the Trojans beat them at their own homecoming 49-0. Harper got revenge on the Trojans, beating them in the Championship Game 21-0. Ty Harper said”(it was all the kids they worked so hard doing the offseason training and they deserve this”).
They went on to win the Far West Regionals over Alexander/Pembroke 11-8 and made it to the final 4 in states. In Conclusion, Ty Harper coaching CSP, CL/WF/BROC taking CSP twice, and CL/WF/BROC to the state final 4 in two different classes on two different teams in a spam of 3 years.
Coach Husband has been a great coach for the Canisius Crusders for the last 20 years. He always makes a good basketball team no matter who he has. He coaches the players very well and makes players reach there highest potential. This year’s team came with a lot of uncertainty as they lost 4 of their 5 starters from last season and there one returning starter got pulled in the lineup midseason due to injury. No matter how uncertainly this Canisius team was they still found every way possible to win every game. This is the first time that Husband has dealed with uncertainly as he had his least talented team he ever had for basketball. In Conclusion Coach Husband has been one of the best coaches in WNY all time in any sport he has a tough style that is really good for there highest potential.
